Join our Board of Trustees

We’re looking to welcome new Trustees to our Board.

We are seeking individuals from all sectors including those with experience of wellbeing, mental health, community development and/or older persons would be an additional benefit.

BENEFITS OF BEING A TRUSTEE

Timebanking is all about sharing skills so becoming a Trustee would be a fantastic way to give something back to Plymouth and the communities in which you live and work in and care about.

You’ll be playing an integral part in the way Timebank South West is run, ensuring we remain people centered, fit for purpose, are sustainable and financially viable.

Getting involved as a charity Trustee is a great way to put your existing skills and knowledge to use but it can also be a fantastic opportunity to learn new things and work alongside different people. You’ll get a great insight into what’s involved in the management of a charity and gain skills in working within a leadership role.

Please Note: This is a voluntary role and trustees receive no remuneration but induction, training and development are on offer.

TIME COMMITMENT

  • Bi-monthly Board meetings (1.5 hours)
  • Two additional half days/days each year for development and strategy work.
  • We have task and finish subgroups as and when needed.
