Food Equality Workshop

Timebank South West recently worked with Plymouth Food Equality Project who ran workshops for Timebankers in Barne Barton and Stonehouse, aimed at recording individual and group food stories. The sessions were facilitated by Lisa Howard from the project starting with a general group discussion using neighbourhood maps to identify local food outlets with post-it-notes. This led to more group discussions about food availability, cost of food and equality issues. Each person was then tasked with creating an individual collage using pictures and words cut from magazines to tell their own food story.
