Covid-19 – Monday 14th September

Due to a rise of coronavirus cases the government are bringing in a new law as of Monday 14th September whereby gatherings of more than six people will be illegal in England. The law change will ban larger groups meeting anywhere socially indoors or outdoors, but it will not apply to schools, workplaces or Covid-secure weddings, funerals and organised team sports.

This new law will be enforced through a £100 fine if people fail to comply, doubling on each offence up to a maximum of £3,200.
This news is of course disappointing for everyone just as we were starting to increase the number of people who we could meet outdoors, but as always our concern for your safety comes first. Therefore as of Monday 14th September we will be limiting numbers to a maximum of six people (five timebankers and one outreach worker) until further guidance is given. We will continue our online socials with no number restrictions!

We are constantly looking at ways to keep our groups together, active and engaged and will endeavour to keep you all informed as developments occur.

Stay safe.
